A commitment to using resource responsibly, while offering innovative quality, energy-efficient products and services. For example, Pella purchases lumber from certified suppliers who harvest and replenish trees responsibly. Approximately 74% of the wood Pella uses is third-party-certified.

Pella has a comprehensive recycling program. Most Pella products contain at least 20% recycled material. At least 95% of the cladding on Pella windows and doors comes from recycled aluminum. In addition, Pella recycles or reuses 99% of the sawdust created through manufacturing. Broken and surplus glass gets reused to create reflective coatings for highways, glass containers and more windows. Surplus screen is recycled into archery targets.
