Play a key role as part of a project team managing and improving business-critical information technologies in all areas of Pella Corporation. IT professionals may support order acquisition, order entry, manufacturing, logistics, inter-plant voice, visual, & data communications, and human resources information management. Concentrate on first-year assignments ranging from operating systems, servers, infrastructure, and numerous departmental or sales applications, pursue a career path that ranges from Programmer/Analyst and Systems Analyst to Project Team Coordinator. Promotional opportunities are available into other areas such as Operations Management, Continuous Improvement Management, Product Management, Marketing and Sales.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree in MIS or Computer Science, or related IT four year degree
  • 0-2 years experience for entry level positions
  • 2 or more years experience for mid-level positions


Complementary Skills

  • Strong customer focus, positive attitude, and self-motivation
  • Strong attention to detail, innovation, and delegation skills
  • Analytical/statistical analysis, group presentation, written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
