Low-E Insulating Glass with Argon*

This energy-efficient glass reduces your energy bills. The Low-E coating helps reduce heat transfer through the glass, keeping more heat out in the summer and more heat in during the winter. Plus, it blocks most of the UV rays that can fade window treatments, carpets, walls and furniture. And argon gas fills the space between the two panes of glass to further reduce heat transfer, making your home more energy-efficient and comfortable year round.

BEST USE: Locations with hot and cold weather extremes.

HurricaneShield® Impact-Resistant Insulating Glass
An advanced polymer layer is sandwiched between two layers of glass, offering strong protection from flying debris. It can withstand an impact equivalent to that of a two-by-four traveling at 50 feet per second, while increasing the safety, security and energy efficiency of your home. And it dramatically cuts outside noise and harmful UV rays, and offers added protection against intruders and forced entry.

BEST USE: Locations that endure hurricane-force winds or where additional security or noise reduction is desired.

Laminated Insulating GlassA polymer layer sandwiched between two layers of glass that cuts outside noise and harmful UV rays and offers added protection against intruders and forced entry. The interlayer holds the glass together if it's shattered.

BEST USE: Locations in need of added security, UV protection and noise reduction.

Obscure GlassEnjoy the privacy you want while still allowing natural light to enter. The best of both worlds, this clear glass, available in a variety of textured surfaces, will let sunshine in and increase your comfort.

BEST USE:  Intimate spaces such as the bedroom or bathroom.

Tinted Insulating GlassLike sunglasses, windows with tinted glass block the sun’s rays so they’re useful in controlling glare; plus, they keep rooms that get direct sun cooler. The tint also helps block the view into your home. Available in Gray, Bronze or Green insulating glass.

BEST USE: Rooms that receive a lot of sun exposure.

Clear Insulating GlassThe airspace between the two panes of glass improves the insulating properties to help prevent heat or cold from escaping or entering your home. A good value that provides basic energy efficiency. Allows maximum light and solar heating. (Also available with tinted glass.)

BEST USE: Locations with moderate weather.
